"We are organic intelligence, living art of existence, imagination made manifest..."

Alpha Centauri by Luke Brown

Lyrics quoted from mystery song on Grooveshark: http://grooveshark.com/s/Track+01/2Vcits?src=5

"We are hyperdimensional waveshifters, galactic time-riders on the pivot of chaos
We are the gypsys of Babylon
Voices of Creation, holders of keys, and bringers of vision
We are chroniclers of lore, artisans of light, channelers of rhythm, dreamers of night
We are travelers on spirals of electrified infinity
Insects and amphibians, bovids and cetaceans, planetary ancestors of holistic cosmic culture
We are forest floor fractals awakened by sun
Participants of ecology, fresh drops of rain and sands in the desert
We are organic intelligence, living art of existence, imagination made manifest
We are warriors and pacifists, diviners of codes, and explorers of darkness
We are descended of myth
We are primal, naked, joyous, celebrating life in the face of extinction
Dissolving illusion, we are together, alone, remembering the Earthly experience"

We are going Hyperspatial...

Words from the modern-day prophet and psychedelic philosopher, Terence McKenna, sample
d in the song linked below:

"We are somehow the children of the planet, we are somehow its finest hour; we bind time, we bind the past, we anticipate the future - we are going hyperspatial; we are claiming a whole new dimension for biology that it never claimed before. We are actually becoming a fourth-dimensional kind of creature. Our future is somehow with us, as we seem to be able to move through metamorphosis into our own imaginations - a super civilization spread throughout space and time. Our future is a mystery, our destiny is to live in the imagination."

Genetics - The Psychedelic Science of the Within

A critical part of the story about the development of the field of genetics has been left out of common knowledge and the textbooks. Without psychedelic drugs such as LSD, THERE WOULD BE NO FIELD OF GENETICS. The discovery of the DNA molecule came from a vision during an LSD trip. Also, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), the primary tool in genetics by which a small amount of DNA can be copied for purposes of analysis, was discovered with the use of LSD. To quote Kary Mullis, the guy who won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of PCR, "What if I had not taken LSD ever; would I have still invented PCR?" He replied, "I don't know. I doubt it. I seriously doubt it”.
